About Us

Most of you know we met in Harrisburg, PA working for Enterprise! Dana was the group's Assistant Controller and Dan was a Staff Accountant. We maintained a working relationship that eventually grew to friendship in the year we worked together. Dan was then promoted to Accounting Supervisor in Hartford, CT while Dana made her way to Boston, MA. Our friendship continued as we travelled the 3 hours back and forth to eat in West Hartford, hang by the pool at Dana's apartment, kayak in the Mystic River, and take Ruby on lots of walks all over! Eventually our friendship turned into more and as they say, the rest is history!

We got engaged in August of 2022, on our 3 year dating anniversary! Dana has always loved the movie "Stepmom" and envisioned her proposal to be that of the one between Ed Harris and Julia Roberts' characters, in bed one morning just as Julia is waking up along with some sweet words of the future ahead of them from Ed. To no one's surprise, Dana does not have Julia Robert's flawless "just woke up" look and Dan doesn't have Ed Harris' immaculate speech skills but the sentiment was just the same and everything we would have ever wanted it to be! Even more, Dan flew in Alexa and Alex to surprise Dana and to celebrate with us that weekend along with a few of Dana's close friends! It was a very special weekend and one we will cherish forever.

We are keeping our wedding celebration small and limited to the people we know will bring the most joy and happiness to our special day. We have described the vision of the weekend to be a big, multi-day party with a short ceremony in the middle! This is going to be a low-stress, relaxing weekend filled with good food, drinks and tons of fun. With you all in attendance, we feel this vibe best emulates our love, our relationship and our future marriage.
